Pelotonia 2018, a hot weekend!

When we went to the expo on Friday, it was a beautiful afternoon.

We breezed through check-in.

In true Ohio fashion though, the weather changed and a downpour went on for 30 minutes.

The storm is coming!

Luckily the boys and I made it under a tent. Once the rain subsided, the game under the tent started back up. The boys each took a turn standing inside a small plastic tent and tried to grab as much play money as they could in one minute. The amount they had in their hands when the timer went off was then applied to their Pelotonia fundraising page. Pretty cool!

Saturday morning, ready to roll!

Lining up at the start with everyone.

Sky out on the road.

One of the rest stops.

Plenty  of food.

Back on the road after a rest stop.

Sky cruising into the finish!

Lunch for all of us after 45 miles!

Why we ride!

100 mile finish line at Gambier!

Pretty nice room I stayed in on Saturday night.

Ric Noland, owner of Cyclist Connection, works through the night to make sure bikes are ready for the next day!

Early start on Sunday morning, riding through the fog.

Mid-day, one of my favorite stretches of road to ride on. It was getting pretty hot, though.

Last rest stop, 18 miles to go!

Cruising into the finish in New Albany.

Unclipping from my pedal to give Claud a hug at the finish.

What a great weekend! Thank you everyone for all your support!
